What is a Design Contest?

A design contest is an event where someone who needs a design (a Yoggin Contest Holder) is offering prize(s) to designers who are participating to create the design based on the contest holder's requirements. The contest holder will choose the winner(s) based on the best design that the contest holder prefers, and the prize(s) will be awarded to the winner(s).

How does a Design Contest work?

• Contest Holder will launch a contest, entering some information about the design that they require and set how long the contest will be held and the prize(s).
• Designers will submit their designs based on the requirements of the contest.
• The Contest Holder can give ratings and feedback to alter the designs that they're interested in and the designers can revise their designs according to the feedback.
• Contest Holder will choose the best design(s) by nominating the designs then selecting the contest's winner(s).
• After the winner(s) are selected, if the contest is guaranteed then the winner(s) should upload their design files to our system.
• The Contest Holder will download the design files and if everything is correct they need to confirm that they have received the files.
• When we received the confirmation from the contest holder, the prize(s) will be sent to the designers.
• For a non-guaranteed contest the above procedure (transferring the design files and awarding the prizes)  is handled between the contest holder and designers themselves.

How to launch a contest?

You need to sign up Yoggin.com. After you have signed up, just follow the Launch Contest link and the instructions. Tell usabout what design you need and the prize(s) that you offer to the designers who participate in your contest.

What is a guaranteed contest?

Guaranteed contest is a contest where contest holder pre-pays the prize(s) to Yoggin before the contest goes live. The prize(s) will be transferred to the contest winner(s) when the contest has ended. Guaranteed contest are not a must, but we encourage you to do so because it will build trust between you and the Yoggin.com designers.  Many more designers will be likely to participate in your contest.

What is a private contest?

Private contest is a contest that is hidden from Search Engine and only accessible for registered members of Yoggin.com. This is useful when you want to launch a contest that is hidden from the public.

How can I choose the contest winner(s)?

To choose the winner(s) of your contest you need to select the Design Nominees first. To select design nominees, click on the Nominate link below the design thumbnail on your contest page, when that link has changed to Denominate, it means that you have selected that design as one of your design nominees (if you want to denominate the design, simply click on Denominate link). After you select the design nominees, go to Design Nominees page by clicking on View Design Nominees, you will be able to select the winner(s) of your contest there.

When should I choose the winner(s)?

You can choose the winner(s) during the contest or after the contest ended (maximum 7 days after the contest ended). The contest will be immediately closed when you have chosen the winner(s).

What if the designer doesn't upload the design files after I have selected the winner(s)?

While it's most unlikely the designer doesn't upload the design files, please contact our support if it happens so we can sort out the issue. Your prize(s) are safe because we don't release payments until you have confirmed everything is ok.

How to submit my designs?

You need to sign up at Yoggin.com After you have signed up, just find a contest that you want to participate in and click on Submit Design button. Then you can upload the preview of your design in .jpg, .gif or .png format.

How do I know that my design is chosen as the winner?

You will be notified by email or you can directly see at our site. The design will be marked as the winner.

What should I do after my design is selected as the winner?

If the contest is guaranteed, you should upload your design files to our system, follow the link on the winner notification email that you received or visit your account management panel.

What is the format of the design files that I need to upload?

It should be in .zip or .rar format.

What if the contest holder doesn't confirm my files?

They have up to 3 days to confirm your files, if it passed 3 days and there's no confirmation we assume that contest holder has received correct files and the prize(s) will be transferred to you.
